The recipient(s) of the scholarship shall:

1. be a full or part time undergrad level students pursuing first bachelor degree;
2. experienced a cumulative gap in education of 5 or more years;
3. anticipate participation in the workforce for a significant period of time subsequent to graduation and are ideally between the ages of 25-50;
4. demonstrate financial need; and
5. show academic promise and commitment to obtaining a degree.

Preference shall be given to:

1. newly matriculating students, or
2. students having re-applied and continue to meet all criteria.
